Three features on this list are not industry standard — they are BlackRidge standard. The 10-mil moisture barrier beneath every beam, the ½″ pressure-treated wall sheathing installed under every siding type, and hurricane ties on every rafter connection are practices applied on every build at every price point. Most competitors omit all three. We include them because a structure warranted for 30 years must be built for 30 years from the ground up.
